hia happy Friday! :3 I got it done even though my motivation was low this morning :P The morning light peeked through the entrance of the cave and dazzled my eyes. Maple yawned and sat up, but Ashen was still curled up on the ground. Maple poked her and she finally got up, grumbling. I could feel Ashen's eyes burning me. "You're hurt," she said. "I'm fine," I growled. We all stood up and went out to find food. I found a couple berries, but Maple slapped them out of my hands. "Hey!" I said, "why did you do that?!" "Those berries are poisonous," She replied calmly. "Yeah, didn't your parents teach you anything about wilderness survival?" Ashen asked. "No," I said, thinking about them, "They weren't really outdoors people." I started to miss them. "Hey, look at me," Maple said, "Once you're all healed, you can go back to them. I know you miss them, but you're in no shape to travel that far." I huffed, "I'm fine." When we got back to the cave, we had handfuls of berries to eat. Ashen started shoving them in her mouth, when I heard a loud crack outside. We went out to investigate. Big flames roared, tearing through trees, and coming straight for us.
