Why is this showing up as a remix? This was based on a GCSE Chemistry practical (that I missed, lol) Let me know if you know of any more elements that have a coloured flame! I also might add more tests with solutions (sodium hydroxide, silver nitrate etc.) but it will take a while seeing as this took about 4 days... Use the left and right arrow keys to change the metal ion (Lithium, Calcium, Sodium, Copper and Potassium). Press space while hovering over the Bunsen burner to turn it on and off. Press space while hovering over the flaming metal to extinguish it. Drag the metal around to move it. Music by Toby Fox Rant time: This was originally made for the Chemical Chaos SDS. I posted it in the studio and watched as curators only added the top three requests into the studio and left. I didn't mind too much, I'll just wait for someone else to be online... Except half the curators hadn't been active for weeks - according to their activity record - and some hadn't been online since ACCEPTING THE INVITE. I asked about this and was told that SDSs only add consistently active members of the community to the SDS studios. Well, no, they don't. And I wasn't alone, literal HUNDREDS of others were having their requests ignored. I saw someone who had been waiting for a MONTH to simply have his project added! I'm downright disappointed, Scratch. You shouldn't be promoting SDSs as a way to make scratchers - literal children - a part of a greater community effort and just ignore their efforts. How do you think that would feel? You see this new studio where anyone can add projects under a common theme, you can meet new people, unite under common interests, and you toil away at a new project just for this. You think it's great and request it to be added. A day goes by. Then a week. Even a month, and you have been ignored. Clearly, your project wasn't worth adding, and you feel worthless and isolated from your community. How dare you, Scratch. How dare you. Breaking your own studio's policies of "adding oldest first" and "having active members of the community curate" and "anyone can make a project to be added". If you actually read this, freaking well done, and thank you. I've said it once and I'll say it again: I'm disappointed, Scratch. SDSs were never like this before, so what changed? Tons of people WANT to curate the SDSs (myself included) because they see the inactivity and want to help children feel included. Instead, you add inactive, careless curators who see the top 3 comments, add them and leave, or do nothing at all. Do better, Scratch. For the sake of hundreds of children who see Scratch as a community they want to be a part of. So let them.
