Gather round, gather round, tis story time, the wonderful time I met Scott Smajor (this man is absolute pure gold ;-; he’s so sweet) January 24th 2026 I was down London specifically for this con, Megacon is already a con I regularly attend various of their events but they announced Aimsey, Eloise and Scott would be attending and I was so excited and obviously, my parents were like sure fine we’ll go (because they were already planning on going down so it was great already) So, me and my family leave the hotel around 11am, and eventually get to the underground station that goes straight to the con centre, however, the station is closed (there is no warning or signage or anything) and we have to walk an extra 20 minutes just to get to the closest station, meaning we were late to the con. We find the queue for the Eloise, Aimsey and Scott meet to get pictures and a staff tells us we missed it and actually aren’t aloud to get a picture (I am devestated as you can imagine) so I get kinda upset about the whole thing because we’re only there on one of the two days and he wasn’t doing any other meets on that day, so I go back to just trying to enjoy the con and eventually go to the mcyt cosplay meet at around 2 pm (I met Rhys too!!! Very peak!!! Shoutout him!!) After the meet ends, I go back into the artists alley, and who do o see, none other than Scott Smajor himself, chatting to people in various mcyt cosplays and taking pictures so when he finishes talking to that group and walks away, I run up to him and go “HI CAN I GIVE YOU A STICKER” and accidentally end up scaring him (picture 1), and I look through my pack of mcyt stickers that I designed trying to find a Scott Smajor sticker (I did not have any as I gave them all to Rhys <//3) so he got a FalseSymmetry sticker and I just kinda chatted and explained (picture 2), I then got a picture with him (pictures 3 and 4) and he was just so sweet and patient and nice TOT Also shoutout to the Lizzie cosplayer and the Vsmp cosplayer in the Cosplay Masquerade I saw (I also joined the halftime show which was an alphabet game, I did musicals and didn’t miss any except I had to be prompted on C because I forgot Cats or Count Of Monte Christo existed) I also got to see the lesbian Jimmy flag which was unveiled by a SOS maid Jimmy cosplayer (also shoutout the Etho in a skirt cosplayer I saw wandering) Also I was cosplaying XBCrafted and only two people recognised me (including Rhys, so like, people step up your hermit knowledge /silly)
