★The Diary of a Champion: Part 1★ Chapter 2: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1350145635 ____________________________________________ Chapter 3: I was inclined to ask him who he was, but instead, I let him speak and pondered the question in my head. He began by saying this: "Why hello young man! You seem quite confused at where your journey has led you!" I replied in an awkward manner, still recovering from the shock of him coming behind me from out of nowhere. "Well sir, I only know I was once a royal knight chosen by King Rhoam Bosphoromus to protect his majestic daughter, Princess Zelda, but I've not the slightest idea of what to do now." The elderly man seemed to avoid my gaze as I mentioned the king, but I thought nothing of it. He went on rambling, "You're quite in luck, son. You see, I happened to know both of the royal figures you've told me about, and yes, indeed princess Zelda was very dear to me." Suddenly, a well-worn piece of fabric tucked under the old man's tattered clothes caught my eye, so I decided to inquire about it. "Might I ask, what is that cloth you have under shoulder?" I hoped I hadn't desturbed him by saying this, because he seemed a little annoyed at my question and was hesitant to respond. "This, well this here is a Paraglider" "A what?" I wondered "A Paraglider is simply a device used to let one fly across gaps with ease and traverse mountain tops" He sounded to me like a salesman when he gave this description. "I am willing to part with it, however, I require a payment." Although I had no rupees, the very mention of a chance at having it was a delight to me. "I have no money, sir" "Oh, money is not the payment I meant, dear boy, I meant payment in the form of work! I have been wondering where I saw that symbol on your slate, and I just seem to have remembered!" I began to make a list in my head of the possible work, but nothing was even close to what he proposed "I need you to climb into that tower over there" He pointed with his giant finger at a tall beacon engraved with the same eye as on my Sheikah slate. Without giving him a chance to mention more instructions, I scrambled up the tower and instinctively tapped my slate to the pedestal in the middle of the glowing, orange, tower. It suddenly glowed a bright blue, just like the one in the tub at my cave! The old man tilted his head my direction and seemed pleased with me. He cupped his hands to his mouth and shouted so loud, I'm sure even a Stone Talus could've heard! (they don't even have ears for crying out loud!) "Well done! Now, look through your tablet at the sights of the plateau and try to spot some giant orange and black rocky shrines!" So, I obeyed him and squinted through the tiny sheikah scope and found 4 shrines! I held up my left hand, still peering through the scope and declared "I've found 4 of 'em!" Again, this seemed to make the elderly man grin, although one couldn't see his smile through the white forest, which was his beard. "Splendid!" Now you'd best be on your merry way off to those shrines! Meet me at the temple of time once you've completed your new objective!" Instantly, I started down the amazing work of ancient architects and bolted to the nearest shrine, neglecting to stop and pick up any sort of weapon. "Thanks a million!" I yelled back. ____________________________________________ Chapter 4: Image from google search Music from Archive.org
