★The Diary of a Champion: Part 1★ Chapter 1: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1341864780 ____________________________________________Chapter 2: Some 100 years later, I awakened. The same cold, blue, mysterious water washed over my refreshed grin. I was alive! The aching pain in my heel had dissipated, and I no longer stumbled or limped when I walked. A strange voice, I think it was Zelda's, came to me in my sleep, just before my awakening. It repeated my name, and soothed me, yet I knew I was preserved for 10 decades for a reason. The first peculiar thing I noticed when I woke up was that the sword of evil's bane was no longer tucked safely in its sheath. The second strange thing was that the door had been sealed behind me, and there was a Sheikah pedestal that attracted my attention. When I firmly pressed my hand against the grooved eye pattern engraved in the stone, a shelf popped out of it, containing none other than the Sheikah Slate! I pocketed it and found my way to a protruding handle in a heavy, stone door. Instinctively I reached for it and turned it. Opening the heavy door revealed two treasure chests. I leaned down, grateful that I no longer had a deep, seering pain in my back and lifted the latches on the chests. They contained battered garments and rags worn by the poor folk and outcasts of castle town (or what used to be castle town). Figuring there was no harm, I pulled them on. The garments would have to do for now, albeit it was imperative I found new clothes, considering the shirt was far too small, and the pant legs offered no protection from the elements. A small opening out of the cave lead to the pinnacle of views in Hyrule (except for Death Mountain and Hebra Peak, of course). I pulled my body up out of the comforting tunnel that had been my home for 100 years and pressed on up the weathered cobblestone steps onto the vibrant, sage green grass of the Great Plateau. My memories started to come back to me as I looked upon the ruined land, but I still racked my brain for most of my memories of Zelda. The sunrise was breathtaking, and I paused, in awe at how much the land had changed. Settlements and towns looked to be deserted, small enemy camps were littered every few miles away from each other, and as I glanced to my right, the temple of time, once majestic in its beauty and holiness, now seemed much less sacred. I slid down the rocky face and into a delightful, miniscule forest. I remembered I had the Sheikah Slate with me, so I whipped it out of my oversized, battered, trouser pocket and discovered a few photos, I assume Zelda had taken. One of them appeared to match exactly with the description I thought of this place, and I suddenly remembered Zelda just a little more. I felt warm on the inside when I thought of her, even though I assumed she was not in a good place currently. I was done with my strole through the quiet woods, when I tripped over a root! I thudded to the ground and received very minor bruising, and I now had a clear view of Hyrule Castle. No more cheer, no more might, just a mass of floating magenta malice. "Ow!!" I shrieked. My head ached, my chest hurt, I backed against a tree to restrain the pain and sorrow. I glimpsed a vision of Zelda trapped inside of a strange cocoon in what appeared to be the throne room of Hyrule Castle!! The vision faded. Out of nowhere, I heard footsteps coming closer! I nearly forgot about Bokos and Moblins!! I braced myself for a knock on the head with a club, but I instead received a pat on the back! "What?" I thought as I turned around. Standing directly in front of me, gazing at me, was an old man who looked strangely familiar! ___________________________________________ Part 3: Image from google search Music from Archive.org
