Type: Dual-ram roped hydraulic with the MR at floor 0. Capacity: 1600 kg or 21 persons. Speed: 1 m/s (Now 0.5 m/s). Logic: Orona Arca 1 (Now Lester Controls Almega 2). Fixtures: Orona OR 96 with RARE monochrome LCD display (Now Dewhurst US91-EN + Lester Controls display). Voice: Older Drucegrove (Now Lotso-Cummins Daniel UK TTS announcements). Motor: GMV T4 pump unit (Now Bucher pump unit). Floors: 7 (G, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6). Door equipment: Meiller doors (Now Wittur HydraPlus). Starter type: Solid state with soft-starter. Maintenance company: Stellantis. Location: Undisclosed block of flats, Thornwick Grove, ST. This is a fairly nice modern block of flats for low-income people which opened on July 9th of 2002. The lift was an Orona OR96 hydro but it has been very badly modernized by Stellantis. Once again, it lost a lot of cool stuff such as the Meiller doors, the GMV pump, the pre-doors, the 1 m/s speed and so on... This mod features a random audio player and an horrid loud ULCEP fan. Both can be deactivated by 2 blank Dewhurst buttons with stickers on them, however, 30 seconds after you press each button, the song player and/or the fan automatically re-activates unless you press the button(s) to re-activate it/them first. This mod also features the very weird Lotso-Cummins voice announcements because this mod is basically a modified Lotso-Cummins lift mod branded a Stellantis! This mod also includes the cringy Colitas chime which plays every time the doors opens! I'm just for words for this lift mod... It's just ABSOLUTE TRASH! BTW, this lift has a slightly unusual door layout and had that since it was built back in 2002. Also, the fire alarm system used to be a nice Simplex 4100U voice evac with white TrueAlert speaker strobes and remote strobes from 2002. It has sadly been replaced with a stupid Gamewell-FCI one in Oct. 2020. YUCK! The HVAC system used to be a Mistubishi system from 2002 but got replaced with Kotori garbage in Oct. 2024. YUCK AGAIN!
