Heya! Before you start reading I need to tell you a few things, first click the green flag so your view counts, then continue reading. This story was based off a dream I had, the rest I made up. (Also, disclaimer, this is a romance story with a kiss in it.) The dream I had was pretty long and I only remember like two things about it. I was in my old house (but an altered version) and the guy I have a crush on was there and we were talking. When we finished talking he gave me a paper with something orange on it (tape ig) the paper had his number on it. When I woke up that day (irl not the dream) I felt super satisfied even though I was sooooo tired (like always lol). Anyways here's the story!!! I woke up feeling immensely satisfied, even though I felt bone tired. I felt like I had been chatting with someone for hours, even though I had definitely been sleeping. I tried to remember if I had a dream. Yes, I did, now what was it about? I racked my brain, a piece of paper, he gave me a piece of paper. What was on it? And who was he? I thought harder, numbers! There were numbers on the paper, 10 digits, a phone number! He gave me a phone number. His phone number. Why, and who was he? I laid back down thinking, luckily I had nothing to do today until six tonight so I had all day to laze around. I got up, deciding some breakfast would help me think. I walked out of my room into the noisy living room. I guess I’m the last one up. I told my parents and siblings good morning. Then we sat at the table for breakfast. While we ate my oldest younger brother started telling us something about one of his friends who was around my age. I always liked that guy and a few months ago I’d had a crush on him, but I’d grown out of that now. My brother was telling us that his friend told him he had a weird dream that he couldn't believe. My brother told us that his friend had felt amazingly happy when he woke up and was trying to figure out why when he remembered his dream. My brother paused to shove his face full of grits before continuing. But before he started talking again I knew what he was going to say, I stared at him, eyes wide as my breakfast plate. My brother asked me why I looked like I just saw a ghost. I answered him by finishing his story, “He felt happy because he had a dream where he talked to someone for hours, didn’t he.” “Well, yeah my brother said a little disappointed “How do you know?” I didn’t answer him right away. “He gave her his phone number, right?” I asked ignoring his question. “Um yeah. You're freaking me out now sis.” My mom asked me how I knew all this. I couldn’t answer her too many thoughts were swirling around in my head . I excused myself saying I had a headache and would be back after I laid down a minute. I opened my phone and called my best friend. She was my brother’s friend’s sister. She answered the phone. “Hey bestie! I didn’t think you would be awake yet. What’s up?” “Nothing really, can I talk to your brother?” “My brother?” “Yeah” “Okay…” “Hello?” I heard him say “Hey, just curious, did you have a dream where you gave a girl your number?” I heard movement then a soft answer, “Yes, why.” “I had a dream a boy gave me his number on a piece of paper…” “With orange tape on it.” he finished. How in the world did me and this guy, who I had a huge crush on a while back have the same dream as me? “Did you mean what you said in the dream?” He asked softly “What did I say? I’ve been having trouble remembering the dream” “W-well, meet me at the snow-cone shop in an hour.” He hung up I stood there for a second dazed. This didn’t count as a date right? I walked back into the kitchen, “Hey mom, sorry I left earlier, I feel better now. While I was in my room one of my friends asked if we could meet up at the snow-cone shop later, can I go?” “Sure baby, are you sure you’re feeling good enough to drive there?” "Yes ma’am” I said. I waited until it was time for me to go meet him. When I got there I saw him waiting at a picnic table outside the snow-cone shop. Seeing him I suddenly remembered the whole dream. We had talked for hours and hours smiling and laughing the whole time when he eventually told me he loved me. I walked up to his table and sat next to him. He looked at me and smiled nervously. “Don’t worry I remember now and I did mean it. I love you too.” He grinned at me. Then, all of a sudden, I had a rash idea even though it was rash I knew it was gonna work out. He was sitting on the bench waiting for me. My heart was thundering. I grabbed his hand, looked him in the eyes then I did it, I kissed him. I let him go and blushed, hard. He grinned wider than before and said “Are you free on Friday for a date? “Sure.” I said laughing and wrapping him in a hug. THE END
