notes. - I'd prefer if you drew her in her 1780s outfit, but either way is fine! She'd be 37 in 1790 though, so keep that in mind. - has a husband Thomas (https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1333669645/ ) and a son Thomas Jr. - she has vitiligo, mostly on her hands. It's not readily visible because of her fairer skin, but she still wears gloves most of the time / when it is practical to - very fast at mental math - had a brother, Stephen Knowles, who was shot in 1775. Patricia seriously believes that Stephen was specifically targeted by Loyalists but that is seriously just.. not what happened. Which brings me to... info on Stephen Knowles's death. ⚠️ TRIGGER WARNING ⚠️ mentions of physical violence and people being shοt. There are no graphic descriptions. I put five ⭕ emojis at the start and end, so you can scroll past it. ⭕⭕⭕⭕⭕ Stephen was very ambitious, and this ambitiousness often became carelessness and excessive pride. He, along with most of the Knowleses, was a supporter of the Patriot cause, and he'd been making petty insults towards British regular soldiers for a few years before his death. On May 6th, 1775, he and a group of his friends who were probably not the best influences on him decided to make a little demonstration. They'd all chant “Britons never shall be slaves” (funny, as that was a line from the song Rule Britannia) and throw some sticks at some redcoats and insult them, you know, silly stuff. The issue is, Lexington and Concord had literally just happened, not even a month ago, so the regulars were on edge; besides Stephen and his friends were quite obviously rebels. So when one of these friends took it too far and punched a regular in the face, things escalated. Stephen and another friend of his got shοt in the end, not the one who punched the soldier in the face though! Both of them died. All the Knowleses were devastated, and had varying reactions. Some decided to keep their Patriot views hidden or understate them from then on out of fear, some sided with the British regulars and said that they shοt the two out of self-defense, and some, including Patricia, just doubled down on their Patriotic beliefs. ⭕⭕⭕⭕⭕ hobbies. - reading poetry and novels (she especially loves the book Pamela) - preserving plants (especially flowers) - embroidering! friends. - Alice Cook and some other people from church who aren't that influential dislikes. - spiders - gυns - rats - the idea of Paul Wright I guess? (redcoat who ☠️'d Stephen (she doesn't know Paul personally at all. Like she doesn't even know his name. She just knows her brother was ☠️'d and she hates whoever did it)
