===== DEMO ===== Try changing the "number" variable slider, and see if the text also changing! This is called "Variable Text Display", it's a custom text made of clone of sprite. ================== HOW DOES IT WORKS? ================== There's a sprite, it have some costumes. Each costumes is a different characters. 1. When the green flag clicked (which the project was begin started), it loop over characters on the variable, and clone the sprite with the same character and different position (in this case we used the "change x by block" ). 2. And what does the clone do? Nothing! It will just wait for 0.01 second (one hundredth of a second) and delete it self, it will replaced by clone (using a loop on step 1). 3. How about animation? How does it works?: I used lerp interpolation so it will got a smooth animation, so I created list for list of y position for each clone, it stored y position data, we changed this data not y position of the clone, and as the clone was created I set the y position of the clone with the data. =========== HOW TO USE =========== This is 100% free for everyone, just credit me on your project if you used this (my username is @zidanealraisy) Just drag the sprite to your backpack, and replace the variable "numbers" with your own variable to be display. Feel free to change the code! Just remember to credit me to your project that use this! ================= Supported characters ================= It supported all characters, in this project I only add it for numbers and minus for negative numbers. But you can add more characters on it, by creating new costume on the text sprite and make sure the costume name is a character you wanna to create. ====== Version ====== It's currently version 0.2.0, here's the devlog: Version 0.1.0 Jun 25 2026: • Added: text sprite that can be used for variable text display • Added: Thumbnail • Added: Simple instruction on demo Version 0.2.0 Jun 25 2026: • Added: More variable for customizing.
