❂ ——————————————————————— ❂ Directory document for all of my characters from the “Sundial” universe ^^ Lore document: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1374337687/ CHARACTERS: Deki - “The Hunter.” One of the two mages prophesied to k!ll the Watcher. Deki is a Langin mage who derives power from the Destroyer. Deki was cursed by the Destroyer/Luca, though his curse was never meant to reach completion. He was abandoned as an infant for being born a girl (his parents wanted a boy, but having multiple children from different births is frowned upon in Sundial) and was raised by an old mage named Jaya. When Jaya was k!lled Deki was forced to live on his own, and would steal for a living. Around the time he was ten years old, a curse mark appeared on his hand. A little later than this, he met Sora and they would become the Hunter and Gatherer. Deki is an anti-hero by nature, doing bad things for a good reason. He hates the bounty hunters with a passion, and often goes out of his way to get rid of them. Sora is unaware of this. Though he might seem like a bad person at first place, he has good intentions and protects those who he cares about. Sora is a Sedgil mage who derives power from the Creator. Sora was born on the summer solstice, which enhanced her abilities. Sora was cursed by the Creator/Luca, though her curse was never meant to reach completion. Sora was orphaned before she could ever remember her parents, and was raised at the Hartenfield Orphanage. Around the time she was ten years old, a curse mark appeared on her hand. A little after this, she met Deki and they would then become the Gatherer and Hunter. He created both the Curse of Changing and the Curse of Darkness (aka the Sable Blizzard.) They currently reside at the top of the Great Mountain with the Zenith Stone. He formerly derived his power from the Destroyer, but now derives power from a shard that he broke off of the Zenith. Kino is prophesied to be k-lled by the Hunter and Gatherer. Aska is born from a noble Cedlan* family known for its bounty hunters. She is considered one of the most, if not the most, proficient and prolific bounty hunters of her generation. She harbors a deep hatred and resentment towards the cursed, including (and especially) Deki and Sora. She is one of many who believe the two mages destined to k!ll the Watcher are actually evil and working with the Watcher and the Cursed. Aska was assigned the task of k!lling the Hunter and Gatherer “in the name of humanity.” Profile: *from the island of Cedarhollow ❂ ——————————————————————— ❂ Clovis - Clovis, often called Clove, is a victim of the curse who turned into a rat. Clove has a bad habit of thievery and criminal behavior (this is how he became friends with Deki…) He is over 300 years old but has the mindset of someone who is five. He accompanies Deki and Sora on their journeys. Profile: ❂ ——————————————————————— ❂ Niabi - A victim of the curse who befriended Sora and Deki before they ever started their journey. She is over 500 years old and is a lot wiser than most give her credit for. Niabi's quiet and sweet demeanor is misleading for someone with as dark a past as hers. Profile: ❂ ——————————————————————— ❂ Koda: Deki’s younger brother born five years after their parents abandoned Deki. The two brothers run into each other in Highdune (though they don’t know they're related at the time) and a little after that Koda develops the curse. He tags along with Deki and Sora as the curse slowly eats away at him throughout their journey. Profile: None yet ❂ ——————————————————————— ❂
