Message- Some bl00d and cat fights. This is about one of the main characters' for my new book ,A Warrior's path. I hope that you ike the book. --------------------------------------------------------------- Chapter 1 | Ashpaw “Come at me. “ A warrior whispered. At The Silver River two clans were fighting. One of Fogclan and the other of Sunclan. Both clans have been fighting for The Silver River for many many moons now. This was the last battle. And Fogclan was winning it. “Why not. “ Ashpaw, from Fogclan whispered back. Jumped at a warrior from Sunclan named Firewing. Firewing's orange pelt beamed from the blood that had been on his pelt since the moment he was born. The fiery warrior was very gruesome and extremely rude at the gatherings. But Ashpaw was not scared of him. Ashpaw clawed him in the face and jumped when Firewing tried to trip him. “I know that you can do better than that, or can you. “ Ashpaw exclaimed. Just then a warrior from Fogclan named Bluewind came to help Ashpaw. “NO! I can do it myself!” Just then Firewing slashed Ashpaw. He wallowed in pain as Bluewind chased Firewing off. "Let's get you to the medicine den," Bluewind said, nudging Ashpaw's uninjured side. He slipped into the quiet, shaded medicine den. The scent of dried herbs and wet earth filled the air. Blossomwing, the tortoiseshell medicine cat, looked up from a pile of leaves. Her single green eye blinked warmly, while her yellow eye scanned his bleeding shoulder. "Sit down, Ashpaw," Blossomwing ordered gently. "That looks like a nasty scratch from a SunClan warrior." She quickly chewed up some marigold leaves into a poultice and pressed the stinging paste onto his wound. The sharp pain slowly turned into a dull, soothing ache. "There. Now lie down and rest," Blossomwing murmured, turning away to tidy her herb supplies. Exhausted from the battle and the strange vision, Ashpaw curled up into a tight ball on the soft moss. His eyelids felt incredibly heavy. Within moments, he drifted off into a deep, heavy sleep. As he slept, the distant sound of murmuring voices began to echo in his ears. He wasn't fully awake, but he could hear what was happening right outside the den. Willowstar, the FogClan leader, was speaking to someone in a low, tense whisper. "We must keep our patrols on high alert, Sharpfang," Willowstar told her deputy. "A group of rogues has been spotted near our borders. A cat named Grey and another named Red have been leading them. If these rogues try to cross into our territory now, we will drive them out just like we drove out SunClan." Ashpaw's ears twitched in his sleep. Rogues? Grey and Red? Before he could hear any more, the voices faded away, leaving him trapped in a dark, silent slumber, wondering what new danger was coming for his Clan.
