[Tw for quite a lot of things actually. D3ath, mvrder, abvse, basic things you'd find in a dark superhero comic] Jason Todd my sweet traumatized guy By Netta of the Nerd Variety Jason Peter Todd was introduced in 1983, and originally had the same-ish backstory as Richard Grayson (og Robin), which was that he came from a circus family and his parents were mvrdered and Batman adopted him. In the DC reboot though, he had a more original introduction, where he was a young teen living on the streets and decided to try to steal the tires off the Batmobile, resulting in Batman adopting him and mentoring him. He's an angry boy though, so he often goes against Bat's orders. In 1988's A D3ath In The Family, he discovers that his mother is not in fact his biological mother. He eventually finds her in Ethiopia and learns that she is being blackmailed by the Joker so she turns him in. The Joker then very v1olently injvrs Jason with a crowbar and leaves him in a warehouse with his mother and a time b0mb. The b0mb goes off and Batman arrives, but it is too late. Jason is d3ad, but his mother tells Bat that he saved her before she also proceeds to d1e. Batman keeps Jason's Robin costume on a glass display in the Batcave. Years later in Under The Red Hood, Batman is trying to uncover the identity of some evil guy who k1dnapped his third Robin, and wow omg turns out that Jason is alive and is actually evil now!! Haha just kidding because Batman learns that it was just Clayface pretending to be Jason. But!! Jason's b0dy is missing from his grave though and Bat doesn’t realize this. Jason actually is alive due to some timelines and confusing stuff, and he gets taken in by Talia al Ghul (who I will mention is Damian's mother in case I ever need to rant about him too) and her father Ra's al Ghul is interested in his resurrection. Jason takes a dip in the Lazarus Pit which fully cures him and restores his health and memories (it is thought by many that the Pit is the cause of Jason's mental instability). Talia helps Jason escape and he vows to take revenge on Batman because he didn't k1ll Joker, and therefore not avenging his d3ath. Jason goes about life k1lling evil people, and comes to learn that he was replaced by a nerd which I think is funny. Anyway he sta1ks the Joker and finally captures him, and before he can k1ll him he decides that he wants him to svffer with Batman instead so he lets him go. Talia thinks that Jason should become the Batman that Gotham really deserves so he becomes a cr1me lord and goes by Red Hood. At some point he finds Joker again and very v1olently injvrs him with a crowbar because haha karma and he lets him go again which is dumb. As the new big cr1me lord, he and the other big cr1me lord, Black Mask, have this sort of war going on and anyway Black Mask k1lled the one and only female Robin (Stephanie Brown). Batman soon learns that Jason is actually actually alive this time and is Red Hood. Jason goes to the Titans tower and b3ats up Tim (the third Robin) for being a nerd (not exactly) and admits that he was a good fighter for a nerd (not exactly). Maybe if Jason had been a better person he would have had friends? Just a thought. Jason k1dnaps Joker again and takes him and Batman to Cr1me Alley where he tells Bat that he will k1ll Joker unless Bat k1lls Jason instead. He gives Bat a pew-pew and starts counting to three. At the last second, Bat throws a Batarang and it bounces off a pipe and lands in Jason's neck which causes him to drop his own pew-pew and the Joker causes an explosion and they fall into the bay or something. That's only one version. Or one variant of a version. Or… alright, I'm confused too. There's so much information to be known about the DC universe that I will never know. Anyway, I love Jason Todd.
Em, feel free to correct me on things :3 Oh boy. So. This is only the first part. The second part is analyzing emotions that he felt, but you don't need that and I'm very likely to never finish it. Also, now I have to do this for Steph (aka Spoiler)
