Hello, all. I know that I said that I was going on break and wouldn't be posting anything besides Bassie's World chapters, but this is an exception. I'm sure you're all familiar with problematic creators getting "files" released about their horrid actions. I had truly believed that the way Qwel acted to the public was who she was. I was blind. She knew about Rox's actions for 2 months and did not do anything until she had to. Essentially, Qwel is definitely not a good person. I will not be supporting Dandy's World in any way from here on out. I owe that to all the employees who were made into victims by Qwel and Rox. I consider Bassie's World to be a project of my own, and therefore will continue to post about that. The document is linked INSIDE the project, if you'd like to read it yourself. If you cannot access the document, I will quote some paragraphs that struck me as important below: (Joji is the person who made the document, to my knowledge) "I would confine myself to Qwel and Rox on calls with others that I wasn’t doing well. I would get lighthearted mentions of “you can quit when you’d like,” followed often by backhanded mentions of “but we just wouldn’t be able to do well without you, Joji!”" "So when Qwel and Rox approached me after people on the other side took advantage of me after I was just discharged from the hospital for chemo treatment, I hardly questioned anything. Qwel and Rox put it under the guise as if it were in my best interest, that if I speak up about my experience as a staffer that people would "leave us all alone". I agreed and got DOXXed, death threats and so much more. When I told them both about it on voice calls, they would downplay me and blow it off by saying things like “well, that’s the risk of working with the public” or “what did you expect? We’ve been DOXXed, too!”" "I am aware that she will try to downplay this and deflect, much like she did to Void, much like she did to me and other higher-up staff about RoxSerpent, much like she did to the public about how much she knew. I need you all to understand that those are traits of a manipulator. " That's just 3 out of the countless paragraphs listed in this document, however. I would highly recommend that you read it for yourself, just how I have. Anyways, I'm going back on break. Just thought this was important. Seeya Edit 6/27 - I'm seeing a lot of people argue "Rox was fired so long ago, why are we just talking about it right now?" To that, I have to say that the person who wrote this document (Joji) was clearly struggling physically and mentally. After being manipulated by two people at once, it is very unrealistic to assume that they would be able to make a document exposing someone who used to be their best friend straight away. People need time to heal. Clearly, this document took a very long time to write. It's fifteen pages of paragraphs, and screenshots Joji had to go and take. It must have been very difficult for them to face this truth until they were finished writing it and then face the blame for ruining Qwel's life. I understand that we all know that Qwel is not a good person, but Joji clearly enjoyed spending time with Qwel and valued their friendship. Just imagine your best friend is terrible, but you rely on them for their praise and appreciation of you, even though you know in your heart it is right to expose them. Wouldn't that be hard to do? Wouldn't it be hard to come to terms with the fact that this person would NEVER forgive you? Nobody else would know that person like you do, and all they know is the bad things. Joji would remember all the good things, and treasure them more than the bad ones. Despite the fact that Qwel is a bad person, she was still Joji's best friend. Be compassionate.
