In May 1763, an incident occurred regarding the trade unions in Glaire. High 'God' Emperor Golden the II wanted to ban trade unions and cause more trouble. People, workers, farmers, & student-led large-scale protests occurred in the capital of Chalwell, demanding him to abdicate. However, Golden II made a huge mistake by terminating 2 civilians and 3 union members.

Years ago, Kintaro once used to be a prince who was persecuted by his father(Goldy the 2nd) for not following the Morals and beliefs of the bloodline of the dynasty. He was supposed to be 'martyr'd', but somehow returned at the start of the Catharsis Rebellion. He installed a federation and introduced reforms to the nation following ideals of liberty, democracy, unity, freedom, and nature to introduce a new ideology, Tophats' Democracy.
