New backroom's level! Death stairs!
I Got the image from this project. I deleted the bottom, so it feels more liminal and the hand gone. https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1334086290 Class: 99% Death rated Entrance: Survive Level ∞ Escape: Get to the top Alive Entity count: Louds of Entity's Types of entity's: every single one. Lore: There is One way to exit but you have to survive alive. Some claim that if you run up for exactly 13 hours without stopping, you’ll find a single door marked with a white handprint — but no one who has entered it has ever returned to confirm. Level 99944342442343264872364872364862826 — "DEATHE STAIRS" Level DEATH STAIRS is an infinite vertical nightmare, a spiraling staircase that stretches beyond comprehension in both directions. The steps are made of cracked, blackened stone, slick with an oily residue that smells faintly of rust and decay. The air is heavy, almost liquid, and every breath feels like inhaling molten lead. The staircase is lit by a dim, pulsating red glow that has no visible source. Shadows here move independently of their owners, often lagging behind or darting ahead as if scouting. The walls are close, yet they seem to subtly shift, sometimes pressing in until you can barely move, other times opening into yawning voids that drop into nothingness. Entities: Every single known entity in the Backrooms exists here — and they are all hostile. They do not fight each other; instead, they seem united in their desire to hunt intruders. Smilers lurk in the darkness between steps, Skin-Stealers stalk from above, Hounds prowl the landings, and Facelings wander aimlessly until they suddenly sprint toward you. Even rare, high-level entities like Deathmoths, Partygoers, and the Thing on Level 7 have been sighted here, impossibly coexisting. Some wanderers report seeing new entities that have never been documented — creatures made of writhing stair-wood, eyeless humanoids that crawl upside-down along the underside of the steps, and a massive, centipede-like being that coils around the staircase itself. Survival Difficulty: Class: Impossible Hazards: All entities, environmental instability, psychological breakdown, infinite exhaustion. Sanity Drain: Extreme — prolonged exposure leads to hallucinations of staircases folding in on themselves, or the sensation of falling endlessly while still climbing. Special Properties: Infinite Loop: Climbing up or down eventually leads you back to the same point, though the entities and environmental hazards will have shifted. Temporal Distortion: Time does not flow normally. Minutes can feel like days, and days can vanish in a blink. Entity Magnetism: The moment you enter, every entity in the level becomes aware of your presence.
