"I'm seeing it!" Cyan cried, "That's the polar opposite of a Glass Phantom trick!" The Shaded Starlings had created an illusion so mesmerising, so stunningly elegant that it took Kalei's breath away, It was a murmuration of starlings, each slightly different, and as elegant and swift as the real birds. Kalei had watched real starlings swoop and dive in through the evening sky plenty of times, but this illusion was just just so much more regal, so much more hypnotising that a trio of Silver Sentinels were caught off guard as they admired it, and ambushed by Shaded Starlings. "Wow!" Called Marble, smoothing down his black and white fur, "And the fact it was the usually never-distractible Sliver Sentinels too!" "The other teams better keep their guard up!" Agreed Cyan. An ad came on about some fruity drink called FruitUp that sponsored the match and Tourmaline asked Kalei and Lantern, "What kind of light do you think you'll get?" "Fire!" Cried Lantern immediately "Not what you want, you rockhead." Replied Tourmaline affectionately. "But I think I'll get Fire, Tourmie!" Insisted Lantern, "Most dragons do!" "Well, I for one have no clue!" Announced Kalei, "And who cares? The game's on again." "Oooh" Said Lantern and Tourmaline together, as they stared at the TV. Kalei couldn't focus for the rest of the match, she may act like the "Oh it'll be fine in the end" kind of person but she did also panic and come up with crazily unlikely terrible outcomes too, and now Tourmaline had mentioned it, they couldn't not think about it. What would she get? Would Kalei get a Light at all? Would the Light Up ceremony be all fancy and bedazzled and their friends would leave the Heartland and do amazing things and she's be trapped? It was possible, rare but possible and Kalei wished she could stop thinking about it.
