Part 2 of "Press the Red Button" https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/559125214/ Don't know about you but I think it's very funny Okay then... has sound by the way :OOOOOOO It will be fun to see how many parts of this I can make without expanding it too far since there is literally no more context to the story (mission, characters, etc) than what I've animated here
Wow I did it, I actually made a part 2 to an animation! That was cool. If anyone wants a part 3 just say the word I tried to pull out a lot of special effects on this one, hope you like it :D Pro Scratch tip I wish I knew before: If you want the graphics to look sharp you gotta split things into individual sprites... Scratch has a maximum resolution it renders each sprite at, so if you put everything in one sprite it'll end up pixelated, whereas if you give everything its own sprite it will render them individually and look super high quality, especially in full screen mode... In part 3 I'll put things into separate sprites. Another pro tip: Do not make things bigger than they need to be. In part 1 everything looked so pixelated because I made the background rectangles unnecessarily large (most of it out of frame), which hits the maximum resolution limit faster. In part 2 I shrank these rectangles to fit the size of the stage and the quality improved drastically. Only include in the costume what needs to be shown on the stage. The helicopter is based on a real-life toy I saw somewhere and played with a lot and drew many years ago and was going to put in its own project and miss dearly- CC-BY-SA 2.0
