Heyas! Around mid-June I went off to China, the land of online stores, great walls, greater firewalls, and the best food ever. Here's some stuff that was fun! - I legit tried food I've never seen with my two sad pathetic eyes ever before - I went to 4 different provinces each a different camp! - Some kid gifted me a very neat anime-inspired portrait sketch of a specific historical figure from Austria - The Chengdu malls looked AWESOME - At my last camp I was sleeping over with a group of friends in this big ahh hotel room and until like 3 AM we kept staring at this weird shape across from the hotel in a window that turned out to be an overturned chair but we all thought it was a weeping angel ;-; - I walked the famous glass bridge! And sat on a 45-degree-upwards conveyor belt a thousand feet in the air! - I drank way too much bubble milk tea - I met a lotta family! Turns out I have a niece and nephew there and a buncha cousins - I went to Shanghai too and went to that super tall building and if you kept looking down the horizon its just buildings upon buildings till it becomes fog - I predownloaded and watched Your Name on my phone with a friend 4 times in a row one night - IT WAS SO HOT. I COULD'VE DIED. - Apparently they have all the fast food chains down there but Chick-Fil-A has their own distinct weird taste and also most of the beef patties are now chicken or pork - I saw some super awesome Chainsaw man figures I couldn't get because I was too shy to ask how to get them - I did buy some other cool stuff like 20 knockoff Needohs for less than 5 USD - I didn't have paper to draw ಠ益ಠ it was scary - SO much fun 10/10 will go back don't listen to the American propaganda folks China's actually pretty safe at least where I went, the economy's not horrible, and there's some decent stuff down there! - I had no internet for 2 months except for Chinese douyin and occasionally my PJSK loaded - That's enough out of me ^-^ - Yeah I spent well over 2 thousand for everything I hope my parents don't expect me to pay them back -_- (TBF they forced me to go BUT I ANJOYED IT HEHEHE)
