I took my sketchbook and drew a person and a tree behind them. 2. "George Méliès" In my school we had to study the novel "The Invention of Hugo Cabret" by Selznick. I really liked the films of George Méliès (if you look at them through the view of a French person in 1902-1908 it magical) especially "Trip to the Moon". 3. Went to the city for my uncle's birthday and doodled whatever I saw. 4. "Rocket-Eye" Drew the moon again. Honestly I like how it turned out 5. Doodles from a book called "Tales from Outer Suburbia" by Shaun Tan...and my own doodles. 6. "Red-Bird" Another Shaun Tan picture. Shows a "bird" drawing a centipede for his parent while singing. 7. Tried drawing plants from memory and personifying them. The red drawing is my friend who (and others) came on that day to practice performing a skit on Jesus raising from the dead. 8. "Being Nameless" I saw the "2 color challenge" online but another guy did it differently, and colored everything with it. Then took another darker color and did the shadows. I did the same. 9. Drew color blobs and filled them up with whatever the color (or shape) reminded me. A great way to fill up your sketchbook. 10. "Secrets by Tenth Avenue North" The album this comes from has the art of a monkey covering its mouth to "say no evil". Its funny, but it has a deep meaning. 11. "Mindscape" At my school on the last day of Year 12's schooling, my school puts on display what student studying creative jobs have been working for their HSC. There is one called "Mindscape" and I tried drawing from memory. Its a statue btw. 12-13. "Sonny's Skulls" These drawings where inspired by Sonny "Sundancer". He's been working on a project called "To The Bone" which raises awareness for endangered animals by drawing them "to the bone". There is a section in his website that has a collection of skull that he created and painted that can be paired up with the actual canvas painting. >>https://sonnyonline.com/portfolio/sculpture/ btw...all the teeth are gold. 14. "Skull of the Tiger" I like tigers. 15. These are just people in my church, school, school's books, and photographs. I added dialogue because why not. 16. A continuation from page 15 where I put *some* of the people in the last page and put them into a fantastical situation or turn them into a fantastical character. 17. I WAS BURNING IN THAT TURTLE NECK! 18. KA-THOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!! 19. A self portrait of myself by I fantasied it. 20.
This is a collection of my favorite drawings from my sketchbook. Pro tip for drawing in a sketchbook: NEVER USE PENCIL! (for, you know, better drawings) "Stars" by Swichfoot (sorry that the images are grainy. i took them with my mom's phone and uploaded it to scratch which would turn any uploaded image into bitmap. i don't have a better way.) should i make an alternate art account?
