Here, Ethiopia began to industrialize sometime between the 20s and 30s. They also manage to fend off the Italians, gaining Italian Somaliland as a result. Once decolonization began, Ethiopia gained control over Djibouti and British Somaliland, integrating them into the empire. The empire also survives past 1975, still holding on to its gains, and is now considered the Japan of Africa due to how it industralized and became a regional power in the Horn of Africa.
