WIP because I forgot about this, and probably won't finish :< This is my entry for Spring! I personally think I did pretty good on account of I suck at coding animation memes, so I'm pretty proud of this! I'd highly encourage looking inside the project to see the art in the background, as the character blocks some of it. Name: Spring Backstory: Spring was born in Fae's Dale, a small town isolated on the northwestern border by a great forest. For as long as anyone in the village could remember, the village was an interworld trading central, where they shipped off the rare berries and fruits they harvested in the forests. Spring grew up in one of the families that mainly sold the berries and had done so for generations. As Fae's Dale was formed by a number of strange cats with stranger powers, magic wasn't uncommon, and Spring was born being able to see through plants like a second pair of eyes. One day, she was heading out into the woods to go pick berries. It was a normal trip as far as she was concerned, a normal day where she would go out and pick some fruit to help her family. But, as she entered, she felt that she was being watched. She tried to see what the plants felt, but nothing was wrong. As she progressed into the forest, the feeling grew and grew. This was the first time she felt anything bad in the forest; it always welcomed her like it was an old friend. When she reached her usual berry patch, her vision flared and she saw something by from the eyes of a nearby tree. The shadows were moving towards her. She snapped out of it and watched in horror as the tendril of darkness reached toward her. She ran as fast as she could, only merely escaping because of the help from the plants. When she got back to town she told everyone what had happened, and they became scared of the forest that they had always been a friend towards. Several others dared go into the woods, and none came back. -Sometimes Spring still wakes up from nightmares, nightmares she saw through the eyes of the forest- Spring's Design is by @floof_bunny Art and backstory by me Song is from Stardew Valley, which is a video game by Concerned Ape
