A nifty little soundboard that can play sounds automatically! Be it random occasional scares to utter chaos, to even just playing sounds normally, it's up to you! ========== Menu Buttons ========== Sound icons: The array of 12 icons in the center of the screen. Click on one to select it, then use the options at the bottom to make its sound play how you want. Arrows: The two large arrow buttons to the left and right of the icons. Click on them to change the page you're on. Preview: The play button on the bottom left of the screen. Click it to immediately play the sound you have currently selected. Toggle: The OFF/ON switch to the right of the play button. Click it to make the currently selected sound play automatically after a delay determined to the sliders on the right. Variance: The slider on the top left. Higher variance increases the MAXIMUM time before a sound plays; if it's set to 0, the sound will always play at the same time according to the Cooldown. Cooldown: The slider on the bottom left. Higher cooldown increases the MINIMUM time before a sound plays; if it's set to 0, the sound will play as soon as the random time from Variance has passed. Master Volume: The slider on the top right. Adjusts the volume of EVERYTHING, including selecting menu options and every sound from the icons. Volume: The slider on the bottom right. Adjusts the volume of the currently selected sound. Does not affect sounds from selecting items on the menu or other icon sounds aside from the currently selected one. ========== Helpful Tidbits ========== ℹ When you change pages, enabled sounds remain enabled until you disable them manually. Your currently selected sound also will not change, but if you select a different sound you will need to go back to its page to select it again. ℹ Sounds that are currently enabled have a glowing effect on their icons, even when they're not currently selected or playing their sound. Handy if you have its timer set especially long. ℹ Volume, Variance, and Cooldown are unique to each icon's sound; changing the values of one will not change the values of any other sounds. ℹ Setting both Variance and Cooldown to the minimum won't make sounds play instantly; there's still about a 5 second delay between each trigger (Scratch doesn't like it when you try to play the same sound multiple times quickly).
========== Disclaimer ========== Although the intent is to have the project run in the background of your (or a friend's) computer, Scratch is a little finnicky with running scripts and playing sounds while tabbed out. A solution I found is to have a slight white noise in the background, which is audible if you have your volume really high but realistically shouldn't be noticable. Additionally, as with most of my other projects this is best enjoyed using Turbowarp, since it uses less resources to run and looks a bit better with interpolate. https://turbowarp.org/1327473837?clones=Infinity&limitless&interpolate ========== Credits ========== Song used for the title screen is "Rankings" from Wii Party.
