You know that one Sonic fan game I've been working on? Well, if you've played a previous build and are wondering what's next, I've got some news for you! The next build, the Act 1 Celebration, won't be on Scratch, but will instead be a part of the annual Sonic Amateur Games Expo (SAGE 2026) I'm not linking to SAGE, it's against Scratch TOS, but you can find the game on Sonic Fan Games HQ when SAGE 2026 beings on September 11th. Just give it a google. (SFGHQ, not GwtB) The song here is the trailer version of Catch Me Up to Speed, the game's main theme. By the way, you can hold space to reveal a screenshot of Dragon Blossom, one of the game's newest levels! And with that, my time on Scratch is over! I was always planning for Go with the Blur to be my last project here, but with how development has fully moved over to Turbowarp, I'm done. It's been a great... 7 years?! If not a bit lonely due to my lack of followers. I'm fine though. I honestly think a lack of people seeing my old and bad stuff helped me create for creations sake and not get any ideas that I couldn't do it. Ever since a friend of mine introduced me to Scratch, I've been making and interacting with the community. Some of my most nostalgic memories took place here such as various times playing SSS, (Super Scratch Smash) (Scratch's Smooth Saturday) or all those high quality platformer games such as Meek: the Game or Ellie's Expedient that never got finished (other than Chirpy Reverie). It's been a great time, and I've seen myself grow a lot in those seven years, but it's time for me to close this chapter and learn more serious game development.
