Chapter 7 That was how Liz gradually dropped out of school while keeping up with her studies with a few textbooks she had at her disposal. After a month of being absent from Middle South Arts Academy, Marc, Kevin and Erica got worried about Liz and decided to visit her on a Saturday after Weekend Classes. The week seemed to drag on forever and finally it was Saturday. Erica, Marc and Kevin walked up to Jessica at the end of the Weekend Classes shortly before they left for Bright Stars Orphanage. "Are you coming with us to visit Liz?", Erica asked Jessica as soon as she caught up to her in the hallway. Jessica stopped for just a moment and immediately began walking before she said, in her voice lower than a whisper "No" "Do you still hold a grudge against Liz?" "..." The question landed harder than intended before Jessica looked away and answered, "No". Erica looked at Jessica. Ever since, Liz stopped coming to school Jessica had been distant. She spoke less especially when they brought up the topic of Elizabeth. With that, Jessica walked away avoiding eye contact with the rest of the group. With that Erica let out a small disappointed sigh and spun on her heel turning to Marc and Kevin and said cheerfully, "Let's go see Liz!" That was the funny bit because none of them ever made it to the Bright Stars Orphanage.
