Chapter 6 Immediately Liz arrived home, she rushed into her room and collapsed onto her bed. She let out the tears that she had held for so long. She hid her face in her pillow and let out a muffled scream. "I thought Jessica was my friend. How could she just humiliate me like that in front of everyone?", Liz thought to herself. Liz felt mixed emotions as the words Jessica had said to her replayed in her mind. Her face was pale and her whole body ached. " You were never worthy of her attention and care !!" "Just like you got rid of your parents." Soon Liz's heart beat faster and so loud that she could hear her heartbeat in her ears. She was so busy panicking that she did not see Emelia walk into her room. Emelia froze when see saw her sister crying. Emelia was an exact replica of her sister in every way except for the fact that she had straight brown hair and she was more outgoing than Liz. Liz, upon seeing her sister, sniffled and wiped her tears. "Liz, I heard about what happened at school today and I know it must be really hard for you but you can't keep on sulking!", Emelia said, assuming a seat on Liz's bed. Liz looked at Emelia's face and gave her a small smile. "You're a smart girl and unfortunately Mrs. Jones has passed away under mysterious circumstances." "The money I've saved will be enough to take only one of us to school. So I think it will be best if I pay the tuition fee for you and I get another means of income but you have to promise me you will take your stud-", Liz had barely finished talking when Emelia flung her arms around Liz in tears. " You're the most amazing sister I've ever had. You put others before yourself even when you are aware that it will cost you. You're the best !!!", Emelia cried.
