°❀——————————————————————❀° Please read the rules before asking questions <33 Hi thank you so much for 200+ that’s so cool!! In honor of this I’m hosting a DTA! This is my first ever big event so I’m very excited and would love it you considered joining :3 °❀——————(( Table of Contents ))——————❀° .01 ❀ ↳ What is a DTA? .02 ❀ ↳ Due Date .03 ❀ ↳ Rules .04 ❀ ↳ Increase Chances? .05 ❀ ↳ Characters and Studios .06 ❀ ↳ Entry Predictions ╭┈─────── ೄྀ࿐ ˊˎ- ╰┈➤ ❝ [What is a DTA?] ❞ A DTA stands for Draw to Adopt! This means you draw whatever character(s) you like and at the end whoever’s entry’s I like the most will win the character! If you have any questions, feel free to ask! ╭┈─────── ೄྀ࿐ ˊˎ- ╰┈➤ ❝ [Due Date] ❞ ❀ ↳ The due date is: August 31 (Subject to possible change) ❀ Extensions are allowed up to 4 (7, if you can convince me) days after the deadline has passed ╭┈─────── ೄྀ࿐ ˊˎ- ╰┈➤ ❝ [Rules] ❞ ❀ You don’t need to ask to enter! Just enter! ❀ Art must be yours! This means no tracing, no stealing, no gacha, now pic crew, or god forbid I catch you using AI… ❀ Make sure to add your entry to the respective studio, otherwise I won’t see it if its not a remix (Remixing is the preferred way of entering though) ❀ You can enter as many times as you like, for as many characters as you like, but because there are only four, you can only win one (so keep that in mind). ❀ Digital and traditional are both accepted! ❀ Be kind to yourself and others, no guilt tripping or bringing anyone down ❀ Also on this note, if I see any of you comment something like “Your entry is so good I’ll never win” on somebody else’s entry I will crash out don’t do it ❀ You can change up the design a bit! I ask that it stays recognizable but feel free to change species, clothing, ‘gender’, etc. (None of them were drawn to be a specific gender so gender ‘bend’ all you want) ❀ Let me know if I’m forgetting something, and have fun!! ╭┈─────── ೄྀ࿐ ˊˎ- ╰┈➤ ❝ [Increase Chances?] ❞ Here are some things I really like to see in entries! ❀ Quality over quantity ^^ ❀ Yummy rendering ❀ LORE- Genuinely I love to see lore it makes be so happy- Whether it’s a whole story or just a short bio and backstory, the fact that you put more thought into the character rather than just drawing them makes me giggle and kick my feet. ❀ Also on this note I love it when people add the character to their pre-existing world or like give the character a pet or friend or something ❀ Animations are cool, but they won’t give you a predisposed advantage Doing or not doing any of these things won’t guarantee or lose you a spot, it’s just things I personally like ^^ ╭┈─────── ೄྀ࿐ ˊˎ- ╰┈➤ ❝ [Characters and Details] ❞ ❀ Each of these Goobers™ have placeholder names taken from months. Yes, you can change the name and yes, you can enter for any design regardless of the current month. I just named them after the months the DTA will be open- ❀ May: Giving me may day vibes, probably goes for long walks (Prompts: Flower + Carnival + Sheep) May entry studio: ❀ June: A distinguished gentleman, probably drinks tea (Prompts: Lily pad + Ruby + Otter) June entry studio: ❀ July: Hates wearing shoes, probably goes surfing (Prompts: Sun + Sea glass + Sparrow) July entry studio: ❀ August: Midwest Gothic, probably loves to read (Prompts: Midnight + Cornfields + Deer) August entry studio: ╭┈─────── ೄྀ࿐ ˊˎ- ╰┈➤ ❝ [Entry Predictions] ❞ What I’m doing here is guessing which character will have the most vs. least entries by the end of the DTA, and seeing how close I get :) This is just a fun thing for me to do, so please don’t change who you enter for based on my predictions ^^ Predictions: 1st: June (I feel like color palette and general aura are so strong idk) 2nd: August (I’m biased- They kind of dress like me and I love the Midwest so…) 3rd: May (Loveeee, but I’m not the biggest fan of light color palettes, also giving midsommar or is that just me) 4th: July (Not my personal favorite, but still love them <3) Current standings: May - 3 Entries June -3 Entries July - 3 Entries August - 2 Entries °❀——————————————————————❀° Anyways I’m going to go draw my own characters now… Song: everyone is anyone - Celina Fang
