If I had to guess, I would say this is probably from the early 2010's. Bought this at an antique store for a pretty low price; it actually had batteries when I found it, and it worked too! It didn't do much because there were a few split gears in the mechanism, which made it not move at all. I 3D printed new gears for it, and it works flawlessly! The sound chip they gave this is really interesting; pretty much all of the sounds are taken from road rippers. Apparently multiple versions of these are different construction vehicles; I hope to find any of those someday so he can be reunited with his brothers. Overall, a very cool item, and it's definitely one of my favorites!
