Title Idea: Over the Horizon Prologue Idea: I opened the door, the sky was dark but, not too dark. I looked behind me to make sure my brother wasn't awake. Then, I closed the door carefully. I walked down the dirt path, my hands in my pockets. It was chilly out but, that wouldn't stop me. I hopped over the fence to the field. The small hill in the center. I walk up it and sit down. The sun climbs up the horizon. Finally. The clouds open up like curtains and the beautiful yellow and orange switch to blue. In the blink of an eye, it was over. I'm ___ and this is my favorite place to go in the mornings, In Rockford, Illinois. It's a rural place in the city but, it is enough. I stood up and walked down the hill. I hear the cows in the distance. I quicken my pace. I wasn't supposed to be here. I jumped over the fence. And walked home to find my older brother at the door.
