Hello! Welcome to this map. As you see in the title, this is a scripted deltarune map so BEWARE OF SPOILERS! Also, this map is open to every animator. It doesn't matter if this is your first or thirtieth map. While I do greatly prefer if you had at least one animation example, it's not needed. If you don't have any, just leave it blank and say that in the 'other' section on the application. Also, feel free to advertise this or invite your friends. Now, on to the rules! 1. Only use 1-2 sprites for your animation. 2. Don't put yourself or others participating down. 3. USE YOUR OWN ART. No gacha, ai, or tracing is allowed. 4. Don't animate in the backdrop. 5. Please follow the script. If it doesn't seem clear, just ask me about it. 6. You don't have to ask to make TNEs. Just make them in a remix. In the thumbnail, include the words "And the Hound a complete deltarune map" 7. 4 parts maximum per person. This includes collabs. 8. AMV or PMV is fine. If you're doing PMV, please don't put words in the part. There has to be at least 3 frames too. Just rotating an image a bit doesn't count. 9. While I'd prefer for you to have your part(s) done within a week, take however long you need to get them done! But please let me know if you need to take a long time for it. 10. The script can be found inside the project. Remember to take a look at it before you decide which part you want. 11. Please only take a part if you're confident that it's within your skill-level. Parts can be found in the backdrop. Please put the part(s) you get into the same sprite the animation is in. Application: Username | part(s) you want | 1-3 animation/art examples | Are you doing a collab for the part? | Have you read all the rules? | Codeword | Other
Still go join this MAP btw pleasepleaseplease SCREAMING ABOUT ONE OF MY FAVORITE SCENES IN CHAPTER 4 Ch 4 Spoilers and insane rambling ahead: So I don't believe what feels like the majority of the fandom thinks-- that the SOUL is only the player/an entity that is meant to be regarded as completely separate from Kris. The player's control is A CRUCIAL ELEMENT but I don't think it represents the whole picture And this scene. THIS. SCENE. What do you meannnn "Susie's smile (...) shined on in front of you and for a moment // It was as if all the darkness had blown away // As if in imitation, your SOUL began to glow"??? Is that not?? Directly comparing the soul's actions to what Kris is feeling in that moment???? AAAAAGH It makes me so flipping crazy and somedays I feel like the only person seeing this!!!! *inhale* Deltarune's Normal route is partly about learning to love yourself and if I'm wrong I'll eat my shirt Through our occupation of the soul, we are showing Kris a better path than the one they think they deserve-- one of light and friendship Though by the end of this chapter, they are torn between their "duty" (the evil and intimidating "You promised.") and their loyalty to their friends and That results in some of their frustration towards us/themselves ...I could probably write a full-on essay about this if I felt motivated enough
