Hi! just wanted to spread the news myself. Apparently, there's a outside-malware-based virus rapidly making its way across the Scratch community. Our community has dubbed it the "canvas" virus, as it's a virus planted in the background code/costumes of infected projects. The ST is working on fixing this! But to be careful, any projects (or projects in general; that's what i'm doing to be sure) that have the words "go inside and look at the background!" or something like that are likely corrupted! Don't click on "See Inside" instead, report the project. From what I know, new projects are clean, but still. Another way that shows that an account may have been hacked is the description of the user will change to something like "I can't believe I've been PWNED by so-and-so! Click on my featured project to learn how!" or something along those lines. If this is the case, I would say steer clear from their projects! If you suspect that you've been hacked, delete all of your projects that may have been infected, no matter how much they mean. The virus copies, so better sorry and safe then corrupted. Change your password and reset your account. Stay safe, and hopefully most of us will pull through.
