The next morning Cookie woke up covered warmly with dark grey and black blankets, and dark brown arms wrapped around her waist. "Good morning, darling," Zenefaira said sweetly, planting a small kiss on Cookie's jawline, " are you exited?" "Exited for what?" Cookie grumbled tiredly, nuzzling her face in Zenefaira's neck, her eyes begging to be closed again for sleep. "Today is the wedding," Zenefaira said matter-of-factly. That woke her up, "Oh $h1t! " she exclaimed, tossing her head up to look at Zenefaira's face, "we need to get ready! Why didn't you wake me?" "I would've woken you up when we actually needed to, we still have hours to get ready." Cookie rose from Zenefaira's bed, realizing then how comfy it was, and threw on her clothes, "Come with me to help with my dress?" She asked, looking at Zenefaira pleadingly. She nodded in return then rose from the covers and also threw on clothes, dark denim daisy dukes and a lime green tight crop-top. Back at the hotel, Cookie slipped into her dress, a short, tight pink dress with a chest cut out for her fluff to poke through. "We look good as h3ll," Cookie smiled as Zenefaira stepped up behind her in her fluffy short black dress, with collar lacing and ribbons on the back. "We get to see Luther and Emelia again today," Zenefaira added, fluffing her afro. "Really? It's been months since we've seen them!" Cookie replied excitedly. She watched Zenefaira as she messed with her large stacks of silver jewelry. Bunches of necklaces and chains clung to her neck, several bangles hanging from each wrist, sparkling under the lights of Cookie's bright ceiling light, which she usually didn't have on. Today she had the lights on for the special occasion of the wedding to get ready for. Cookie herself had gold jewelry, for the wedding jewelry guidelines were either gold, silver, steel or copper, for the bride, Madeliv, was wearing diamonds. But all the matter, the wedding was today, and it was time to get going.
