so basically i think jax, ragatha, ribbit, and kaufmo were like a little friend group that were very close to eachother…and i think ragatha may have caused ribbit to abstract, which we know is jax’s best friend (i think) that’s why jax hates ragatha and got mad when she brought them up (stargazing scene). so after ribbit was gone, jax and ragatha fought a lot…causing their friend group to break up. so maybe the real reason why kaufmo abstracted is that he was sad about their broken friend group. after kaufmo abstracted, jax started pushing people away (like he is right now) because kaufmo was his only friend left the he got along with and got scared of getting too close with anyone again.
