yeah so this mod came out yesterday and as soon as i heard about it i was like yeah im gonna make an ays of this Fair warning, this mod is fairly disturbing for the younger audience, so once the actual project comes out, expect a lot of similarities to how its shown on there. Ill obviously censor the swear words though. This project will NOT have teasers and will only consist of being an announcement project. Ive decided this because making a bunch of teasers projects right after the other seems a little overwhelming, so this project should be enough really. I will still post regular progress updates in the title, so dont worry about it being too hidden. Once the AYS comes out, i will delete this project, since theres no point to have it up, i will also delete the Inadequacy teasers project later on once the actual AYS project has surpassed the teaser projects views and reupload it to my alt in case people still like playing around with it. Because of this, my Thearchy AYS is paused at the moment, but fret not, because i dont this should take too long to make. Sprites seems relatively easy to make, only hard part would be the end sequence and of course the cutscene. Thearchy is doing pretty well in production, sprites are being made slowly, but theyre really faithful to the original and im currently nearing the end of the Phase one sprites, more specifically every animation before Tsukeratas phase. All that needs to be made is the spin animation, only a few frames need to be completed (teasers project will be updated with them once finished), the intermission sequence, Tsukeratas sprites and finally BF/GF and the actual project itself. Trust me, this will be peak. Im actually kind of glad theres a new Dave and Bambi aethos mod right after Inadequacy, since that song and mod is pretty much done for, I made a post on my YT stating my plans to make a fanmade hotfix update to DBDB, featuring the new Phase 3 Perditus sprites I made (not official, made for fun), as well as more stuff, and Adrio commented under that to not make any future content regarding the mod, at least publicly. I will still make the Inadequacy REDUX, yes i will spoil it early, and the OCS AYS' here, I just wont post them on YT. And after those, im done with the mod. I think posting them here is fine though since scratch and my projects as a whole are really niche and basically a really small portion of people would see that these even exist, so i dont think it would hurt too much. Would i say this mod is better than Disheartening Betrayal? Definitely not. Both have their own pros and cons, but I will give the benefit of the doubt to this mod that the cutscene is animated wayy better than Inadequacy. Concept wise the mod does NOT compare any way to Inadequacy, but again im glad theres something new without controversy Stay tuned.
im so lazyyyyyyyyyyy ughhhhhhhh progress log one: 30% (main ays is being developed really well, phase one sprites are nearly complete.) progress log two: 40% Phase one sprites are now complete, and have been imported to the AYS, and they look really good so far. Phase 2 sprites are currently in production and i have finished the base along with the in game colors, these shouldnt be that hard to make and the mid song animation is relatively straight forward. After that, im going to focus on the minor details, such as finishing the phase 2 events in the AYS, making the expunged head, and then moving onto the final sprites for Benny. After that, dave sprites will begin production. After i finish these sprites i can say that the AYS has crossed the 50% mark, and with all the sprites and events, that would jump to a 75% completion, and finally the cutscene marks 100%. Super excited for this AYS to \release as its one that i have started to really like Progress log 60%: Phase two sprites are done, the last 40% will go as this: Phase 4 Benny Phase 1,2,3 and 4 Dave The cutscene (which should take roughly a month if i put my focus to it) Project finalising And a few more stuff that all rounds up to 100%! So yeah, unfortunate. Kind of wish i didnt make this AYS in particular but im stuck now due to making a lot of progress on it now. Evil eyes. Progress log 03/08/26 Been a tad bit. Progress on the UpdateLeak AYS has been very slow recently due to me focusing more on my NPCS are Becoming Sinister work, and just me having a lot more fun working on those instead of making progress on my scratch projects. Development is happening behind the scenes, im currently reporting that the phase 4 benny down pose is nearing completion, and soon his sprites will be completed. Next will be dave, then finally project finalising and the cutscene. Man i cant wait to finish my last AYS projects and dip from here.
