Chapter 7 Yatta stopped abruptly and looked up at him. “What is it looey?” Yatta asked. Looey was frozen in fear he couldn’t believe himself. How could he have been so stupid to have done this?! “Y-yatta? Theres’s s-something I need to t-tell you.” He couldn’t believe he had stuttered so much. He probably looked like a stupid balloon dog now. “Yes?” Yatta urged him to say more. “Yatta I-I’ve liked you for a long time now! I-I really like you! Every time we have shows or are just hanging out! Every time you look at me like that! Every time you blush! I-I love you Yatta!” The words spilled out of Looey before he could stop himself. He knew this was it. This was when she would reject him and then forget about it. At least she would never know. “L-looey.” Yatta’s face flushed red. “Looey I feel exactly the same…” Looey’s heart stuttered. He was convinced he just had a heart attack. Looey was stunned into silence. It was just them, the only sounds the elevators shutting closed in the distance. It felt like hours even though it was probably just minutes. They both sat there looking at each other, faces red. Yatta leaned in until she was just inches away from Looey’s face. Looey could hear his own heartbeat thudding in his ears. He could feel her breath on his face. She leaned in even closer then so that if any of them moved they would be nose to nose. Then Yatta kissed him. To him this was the happiest moment of his life. Then it was over, just as fast as it had begun. “I love you Looey.” Yatta said. Then she ate the last bite of chocolate and she was gone.
