I'm thinking of doing these every time I get a new horse but I guess it really depends on my mood and if I'm up to it. I brought him to the barn and walked in the isles for a bit before taking him to the arena and letting him poke around for a bit before finally putting him in a pasture with Arctic. Arctic greeted him warmly and I don't have any doubts having Onyx in there with my young stallion. (Arctic's a big softie, you'd think he's an old gelding with how sweet he is)
