SS Throne is my ocean liner (fictional obviously and basically just a fusion of United States and Queen Mary). SS Throne entered service in 1931 as the ultimate symbol of the Turkeyish Union’s (just a fictional country I made with my friends inspired by Durpy the Turkey and has nothing to do with the actual country Turkey) arrival on the world stage, instantly becoming the largest and most luxurious ship afloat. For nearly a decade, she dominated the Atlantic as the RMT Line's premier flagship, a "Gold Standard" of high Art Deco opulence that catered exclusively to the global elite. However, with the outbreak of WWII, the RMT Line made the strategic decision to pull her from service; her massive size made her an impossible target to protect and her specialized luxury interiors were deemed too expensive to convert for troop transport. She spent the war years safely "mothballed" in a hidden harbor, preserving her pristine 1930s grandeur while her younger sister, HMHS Crescent, took to the front lines. Re-entering service in the post-war boom, Throne enjoyed a second golden age as a nostalgic icon of pre-war elegance before finally retiring in 1961, marking the end of a 30-year career
