★ TORTRIXBLIGHT'S SENTENCE ---- tortrixblight is dead- or will be soon. his whole life, he thought he would reside in the dark forest for the rest of his starclan-cursed existence. that he would rot as he was supposed to, and that he would enjoy it. but he finds himself toeing the line. to return to urchinclan's truest home would be to leave her behind. to be sealed behind a border designed to keep him out, and her safe. but perhaps his opinion isn't the only that matters. ★ THE SINS ---- i. the murder of thrasherear ii. assaulting cats iii. stealing flurryclan prey iv. causing mental harm to others v. perpetuating violence vi. infedelious- loved sorastar while with shatteredcrown ★ THE VIRTUES ---- i. caring deeply for those around him ii. fighting for others iii. kind towards strangers iv. mentoring many apprentices v. raising eleven kittens ★ THE DEBATE ---- the question is not between starclan and the dark forest- tortrix has known his whole life he would never be a starclan cat. the wondering is whether he should be a dark forest resident, or a shade, able to traverse both realms. both paths are respectively, a mercy and a burden. to be a dark forest cat leaves him where he truly belongs, and feels most comfortable- but without his mate or kittens. to be a shade leaves him without true allegiance and the closure of being a 'true urchinclan cat', but he will have the luxury of getting to hold maplestar once more. in both roles, he will have the ability to dreamvisit and mentor- but he cannot give lives to future leaders as a shade as of now. ★ THE JURORS ---- i. maplestar - mate ii. sorastar - best friend iii. shatteredcrown - friend vi. harmonybell - friend v. grandeurphantom - daughter vi. hireathpaw - daughter vii. vultureslaughter - son viii. hyacinthhoney - daughter ix. requiemear - daughter x. harebelletumbleweed - son (?) xi. shiningheart - mother xii. marlinstar - role model ★ EXTRA NOTES ---- i. if you feel your cat should be a juror for any reason and they aren't, feel free to tell me! you might not be accepted, but i will consider it ^^ ii. your cat will not hold the memory of voting- the only purpose is to help me decide where my silly guy is headed!! iii. please vote in character!! ★ CREDITS ---- this wasn't made with any inspo, but i realized recently that someone did have this idea prior to me, @windsclanned did something very similar that you should go check out!!
