my school has made another bad rule, let me explain. they banned fidgets and what they call "toys" of course in order to sound not ableist even though they are, they said if you had a note from the counselor you could have it, most teachers wouldn't even care if you did have that note they'd still take it. and to get it back your parents have to come AFTER SCHOOL to get it. as someone who constantly needs an emotional support stuffed animal but keeps getting dismissed about having any mental problems, I'm unable to get that note. its like my school wants me to cry after every class like I do most days. NOBODY asks if I'm ok. and then the teachers go complain and email home stuff like, "oh remind your kids to shower and wear deodorant" or "remind your kids to eat before the test!" like, find the dumbest way possible to say you think your students are disgusting!!!!!! I get assaulted at school multiple times and nobody even talks to the kids, but if I fought back I'd be called "violent" and get expelled, the zero tolerance policy is NOT promoting good mental health, its like telling a child, "oh don't tell anyone. if you were getting hurt on the streets don't fight back" and nobody did anything when I got called those really bad words either so idk I'm done with school no matter how much my mom glazes the teachers...
