They must be reasonable and follow typical naming rules. Names that are not allowed are names like: x Whalekit x Belugakit x Phosphophyllitekit x Chrysoberylkit x Hemimorphitekit x Tourmalinatedquartzkit x Seaanglerkit --Long or complicated crystal names are not allowed, as well as sea creatures that have complicated names and Rainclan cats would not know of. Rainclan's naming traditions are not permanent but this is the current tradition to honor clans traditions and Thalassa.
