Chapter 2 --- Vee Time:11:08 PM "Ugh, I didn't know the virus spread this fast." I mumble to Astro, fumbling to stay stealthy behind a shelf, a toon or twisted walked past. "I'm pretty sure that Rodger called them, uhm..." Astro tightened his blanket, and he had a scrunched expression on his face. 'He BETTER spill that out or I'm actually going to strangle him in my sleep.' I thought, not liking how close he was to the edge of the shelf. The area around us wasn't very huge, or good enough for running away without the creatures or whatever they're called spotting us. 'Maybe he is just sleeping so sudden-' my thought was cut off when a book flew above our heads. "What the heck happened?" an expression that filled Astro's face that wasn't necessary pleasant for me. I stumbled back, not wanting to know how Astro gotten so... twisted. Oddly enough, he started to growl a primal scream, loud enough for the other creatures to hear him. I sprinted out of that tiny area, not wanting to get eaten- or worse. I rushed toward the elevator, quickened breaths that sounded far away from me. I sigh relievedly, only to realize that the elevator was on the other side and that the creatures started to head towards the fake elevator where I'm at. "Dang it." I mutter, scrambling to the opposite side from where the other twisted toons hobbled. Suddenly, Astro spotted me, chasing with speed that would've surely ended my if I hadn't used an eject button. "Pheew! That was too close for comfort." I say out loud, pressing the button to the lobby. 'But how so quickly did Astro turn into a monster. He was fine just a while ago.' It was strange that he was handling the disease himself. Why didn't he tell me? Did it happen to activate while the book was thrown. 'Ugh, I guess he was acting like a zombie before he actually transformed. The ichor did appear on him quickly.' The ding of the elevator signaled my arrival, except there was only few toons in the lobby. Not even Dandy was there. Vee felt a rush of uneasiness past her as she cautiously approached Tisha and Brusha. Apparently, they were so into their quarrel that they didn't notice Vee right beside them until Brusha jumped once she turned her head. "Oh. Hey Vee. Where'd you go? Sprout needed to talk to you earlier." Oh, that was concerning. Even as a robot, she could feel the tension in Brusha's voice. Sprout also only called her when he had a huge problem -or just generally annoying her. "Brusha, you need to stop getting into those silly side quests! If I were you-" Tisha was finishing her sentence when Brusha sprayed her with insect spray. She chuckled as Tisha wiped her eyes and screamed. "Throwing a tantrum from one of the most obvious cleaning products you use?" Brusha smirked, sounding quite pleased with herself as she strode off, dropping the spray at Tisha's feet. "Ugh! You're going to regret that!" She warned, picking the bottle and stuffing it neatly among her cleaning supplies. "Huh. That was weird. She definitely pressed a button against you." I say, looking down rather than staring at Tisha, who was trying to give her most annoyed glare at me. "Hey! At least I have more..." Tisha's voice trailed off as she glanced at my shoulder and ran away faster than Vee remembered. There was some prickly feeling behind me. Oh no, it's the type of feel when there's someone near you. She confirmed it as a finger tapped my shoulder and gave out an ominous message. "Hello Vee. I have come to escort you." *what the-* ------------------------------------------------------------------------- so um I think this is longer than last one song: perfect nothing by idk I luv cliffhangers everything by me except characters, audio and backgrounds the thumbnail looks so bad such an INSPIRING TITLE NAME :D also today easter event go bye bye vro I'm sobbing rn k bye uh magnificent audience <3
