Update with Herbs and Spices 'Nutmeg' Poppy let me take out Nutmeg for an update and he was such a good boy! Poppy recommended doing flatwork/light polework as Nutmeg hasn't been worked with much yet, so that's what we did. I put out some poles and got on. (1-2) We warmed up with some walking and trotting around the edge of the ring. (3-5) We switched directions and did the same on the other side. (6-8) We cantered a bit before switching directions (again) and cantering about the same amount on the other side. (9-12) We did the poles at the walk from both directions before doing them at the trot and canter in both directions. (13-18) We walked out and I brought Nutmeg back to his barn. (19-20)
