I've already said this a couple of times, but the song is meant to contrast nature and technology. I already knew what I wanted when I started production last year, and I'm happy with the results even today. I think it really is a nice pop-like song. While certainly not danceable, it's a nice message about the Earth and how it can't be all of one thing, that we need to have balance. The hardest part of production is the guitar (it's always the guitar) because I don't have a guitar, but I'll show the FX I used inside the project so you can make your own guitar! I incorporated a lot of elements from Tally Hall's "The Trap", since I was absolutely obsessed with the song at the time, and I think I did a pretty nice job at that, if I do say so myself. I even included some of the zenith noise from that song in the end. Hehe... I'm also very sorry for those that liked the end, but those were mostly loops and stuff. (I was a baby composer, okay?) I think my favorite instrument used tho were the tines, and I also really liked how the harps arpeggiate upward while the tines arpeggiate downward. We scrapped the intro, but I think I still have the file and it's inside the project (I dunno if the intro is in there, I'm at school) Remember how I said this was a year ago? I still have some of the old planning in the project, which shows just how like- strange it was, because now, I hardly plan or write stuff down. I just do.
