Hey y’all, you may have already seen this in the project but I’m going to be writing an original series on scratch! But I’m letting you all design the characters! If you’re seeing this then I would really appreciate it if you helped out and designed a character and wrote a bio. I’m not going to be making much artwork for it. Just a chapter cover for each section but the artwork is to make sure that I describe the characters right and everyone can have a visual for them! You are able to design multiple characters if you want to because I’m not sure how many people are going to see this. It’s going to be a type of alien sci-fi so all the characters are going to be aliens living on the planet Starian (pronounced Star-E-in). Look down at the Notes and Credits to hear more about the story. But there are some characters that I need, as people design characters I will be updating the list so you will know what’s needed and what’s not. Please comment if you have any suggestions for the story! Starian, is the planet the story takes place on. The story will be a mix of fantasy and sci-fi and all of the characters will have special powers that they go to school to learn how use and control. Each character gets their magical power or ability once they turn 6 years old. There are some more common powers and some more rare powers. A lot of the story is not figured out yet tho but I have the main baseline for it. I have made the first character in the story so you can use the design for her as a baseline for how to make your character. Not all characters need to have the same hair color but I would recommend that they have colorful hair. Here is Chrissy’s bio (when you remix This just delete the parts about Chrissy but you can keep the main baseline for the character bio) Name: Chrissy Pronouns: She/Her Magical power/ ability: Levitation/ flying Age: 6 3 words to describe them: Energetic, Silly, Curious Personality and more about them: Chrissy Is the silly, Cute curious and annoying kid that you would think of when you hear the word “young sibling” when the story starts she had just gotten her powers about 1 month ago and is still a chaotic, destructive mess. She has an uncommon power so a few other people in the story may also have that magical power. Her and her best friend are inseparable and always causing chaos together. (Or not depending on how the character of her best friend makes them) Chrissy is loved by a lot of their small town and is very fun to be around (Unless you have to clean up her mess) Tips for making the characters! You can make the story go any way you want based of how you make the characters so be sure to be creative but also look at all the other characters and projects so the story doesn’t go too many separate ways. Use other people’s designs to make your own. You can look at other characters people made and in your bio you can describe your characters relationships with others in the story but you don’t have to do all of them. (Trying to say this in the nicest way possible) Don’t try to overshadow the main character! When you are making a character, for example the main characters teacher, you don’t want to make their story so interesting that it seams like they will take over the entire series, but also don’t make them really dull so that they are a boring character. Try to add some quirks to your characters or a tragic backstory, but don’t steal the whole story. (And if I’m not able to tell your characters whole story or if I add something to them you didn’t write please don’t get mad I’m just trying to do whatever’s best for the plot) If you have decided to make the main character (and it’s still available) You have been in trusted with a very big job and you will really drive the whole plot of the story so if you want to you can add a tragic backstory or a certain quirk that makes your character special (for example maybe they never got their magical ability) or you can just design a normal character like your making an extra and leave the main character-ness to me. But you can really do whatever you want! Extras! Because I Don’t have the hole story figured out yet the extra characters will be really helpful because I can change or move there role In the story based off what I need. So you can design the character and make sure to add a strong personality and storyline even if it seams like they will just be “Background characters” because they may end up being a really big impact on the story! When you are making a character please make sure you check all the remixes first because I may not have updated the project yet based off what’s used and what’s not
