(Lunar. Do you know why I picked your name?” ~~~ Lunar was surprised by Artemis’ quick exit. She had expected her to stay and mingle at least a white longer, but she decided to leave. *Oh ,well* Lunar thought. The rest of the campers had free time, so Lunar decided to head to the archery range. Most of the other campers decided to start brainstorming for capture-the-flag, but Lunar wasn’t interested in strategizing. When Lunar reached the archery range, she found the bow she had used before, and started her process. Nock the arrow, pull back, deep breath, and release. Bullseye. Repeat, split the last arrow. Repeat the whole thing. Lunar just kept going, never missing a shot. Before Lunar knew it, the sun was setting, and Lunar had missed dinner. Not that she was hungry, Lunar needed very little food. She’d never needed much food, just a koulouri in the morning and she was good. Lunar decided to head back to her cabin, while she was on her way, she realized she hadn’t talked to Lily that day. Lunar decided that she would tomorrow, and tell her about the odd meeting with Artemis. When Lunar reached Hermes Cabin, she saw that most of the other campers were already in the showers. Lunar decided she would be fine without one tonight, and would take one tomorrow evening. She changed into night-clothes and climbed into bed, her arms, surprisingly not very tired from all that archery. When the others got back, Connor informed her that they were doing capture-the-flag tomorrow, which was apparently earlier than normal. The campers had very little time to prepare this time, so they all had the whole day off from scheduled activities. All campers were supposed to meet in the training arena, where Athena Cabin, and Ares Cabin would do most of the strategizing. Others were welcome to provide input, but most didn’t. Once they had the plan, they would give out general tasks to head counselors, and head counselors would delegate to the rest of their cabin. Lunar fell asleep thinking about her encounter with Artemis that day, it was strange the way she had reacted to Lunar’s papa’s name. Lunar figured it would come to light soon enough. “I alítheia pánta vgaínei sto fos.” Lunar whispered into the dark. The truth always comes to light. ~ The next morning, after breakfast, all the campers headed to the training arena. The Ares and Athena cabins were already there strategizing. Lunar hated it immediately. All the people around her were speaking English, Lunar couldn’t understand a word. Percy was standing near Annabeth, who was standing over a table with a map on it. Percy waved at Lunar, and beckoned for her to join them. Once Lunar made her way through the crowd to them, Percy said something to Annabeth. Annabeth looked highly surprised at what he had said, and turned to Lunar. “Lunar, is it true that you always hit bullseyes with a bow and arrow?” Annabeth asked. Lunar nodded, “Everytime I have shot an arrow since I arrived.” Annabeth nodded, mumbling something in English to herself. “Lunar, have you tried shooting from far away?” She asked, as if an idea was forming. Lunar shook her head. Annabeth called someone in English, and Lunar heard a response, though she couldn’t understand. The person who walked over, Lunar certainly wasn’t expecting. Annabeth talked to him for a few moments, gave him a few things, and then dismissed him with a wave of her hand before turning back to the map she was standing over. The person who turned to Lunar was stunning. Lunar thought he was even more handsome then when she had seen him before, he was slightly messy, which Lunar thought made him more handsome. The person who was there was none other than Kai Winters. Twin brother of Lily Winters and the person Lunar thought extremely attractive. This was going to be interesting. (Kai Winters, and Lily Winters.)
