(“Lunar, my Lunar. You look so cute in your fórema!” “Papa! Stop it!”) ~~~ Lunar saw the young woman turn to Chiron and say something, when he heard her, he looked to where the woman was pointing. She was pointing at Lunar. Chiron turned to her and said something, but Lunar was too far away to hear her, and she figured she was speaking English as well. Lunar decided to find Annabeth, hoping she could tell her who the woman was. She looked for a few minutes before finding Annabeth with Percy, speaking to the young black-haired girl. When Percy saw Lunar, he waved and beckoned for her to join them. When she joined them, Percy said something to the girl in English, then turned to Lunar and said, “Lunar, this is Thalia Grace. Artemis’ lieutenant and second-in-command.” Thalia waved and said, “Hi! You’re Lunar, right? Percy and Annabeth were just telling me about you!” She sounded very enthusiastic. “Yes. It’s nice to meet you, Thalia. I hope Percy and Annabeth weren’t telling you bad things about me.” Lunar said playfully, trying to match Thalia’s energy. “Oh, no, only good things.” Thalia said, matching Lunar’s tone. “Well. That’s good to know. Annabeth, I had a question.” Annabeth nodded. “Who is the young woman over by Chiron?” She looked slightly surprised, as if Lunar was supposed to know this. “That’s Artemis. Thalia could probably introduce you, if you’d like. Thalia knows of your… situation. I’m sure Artemis would love to meet another from Delos.” Thalia nodded. “Lady Artemis would love that. I know she misses Delos constantly. And her brother sometimes, even if she doesn’t show it.” Thalia said, still nodding as if realizing how good of an idea it was. “I’d like to meet her if you’ll introduce me.” Said Lunar. Thalia nodded again, then motioned for Lunar to follow her. She followed her over to Artemis and Chiron, when they arrived Thalia said something in English to the two of them, before turning back to Lunar and saying, “Lunar, this is Lady Artemis.” She motioned to her, and Lunar noticed how uncomfortable Artemis looked. “Lady Artemis, this is Lunar.” Artemis and Lunar nodded at each other, Lunar’s nod more of a slight bow. “My Lady, this is the one I was telling you about. The one born in the archonship of Heracleides, on Delos.” Chiron said, gesturing to Lunar. Artemis smiled uneasily and said, “Nice to meet you, Lunar. You have a very nice name.” Lunar smiled back at her saying, “It’s nice to meet you too, Lady Artemis. You have always been my favorite goddess. Whenever I could pick a god to pray to when I was living in Delos, I always prayed to you. Though I doubt you remember that, given how many people have probably prayed to you over the years.” Artemis laughed slightly, then nodded. “Delos, huh? Who did you live with?” Artemis asked, something in her eyes that Lunar couldn’t tell. “I lived in a small oikos with my Papa, Orion Days.” Lunar replied sadly. Artemis took a sharp breath, as if that wasn’t what she wanted to hear. Lunar cocked her head, she hadn’t expected that reaction. “Lady Artemis, is everything alright?” Thalia asked, she had been quiet this whole exchange. “I’m fine, Thalia. Well, me and my hunters have had a long journey. I think we’ll retire to our cabin for a while.” Artemis replied, then, with a quick glance at Lunar, walked off towards the Artemis cabin, leaving Thalia to gather the other Hunters.
