Worked with FWE Arctic Reverie today! I've entered him in his first show to gain experience and wanted to do some more work with him before then. We really just did some varying sizes of circles and figure 8s at the walk and the trot before doing a few large circles at the can as I wanted to keep it simple because Arctic is just learning. We then switched directions and did the same. I noticed he was a little stiffer on this side and made a mental note to work with him on it more in the future. I then got out some poles and we did them to work on stride lengths, which will help with XC and Showjumping too in the future. We ended with a positive note and I'm amazed by how quickly he learns!
