Some things/problems that ADHD can cause are things like: having a hard time focusing on paying attention, being hyperactive and being impulsive, along with sometimes having low self esteem, trouble in relationships and do poorly in school if not supported. Depression - A serious mood disorder that involves persistent sadness and a loss of interest in daily activities. Symptoms include emotional and physical changes like: Persistant sadness, irritability, fatigue, changes in sleep cycles and appetite, and feelings of hopelessness. Depression can be genetic, biological, and can be caused by stress, isolation and other medical conditions. depression may not always be present in a persons day to day life, but can suddenly show up out of the blue. Anxiety - a normal feeling of unease, but an anxiety disorder may include: excessive, persistent worry that interferes with daily life, causing physical signs like a rapid heart rate, sweating, trembling, mental distress, leading to avoiding behaviors. some triggering factors c an be: Life experiences (Stress, trama, major life changes) genetics and brain chemistry. The specific disorder, Masking - is to conceal ones true, authentic self, thoughts, and behaviors to fit in or meet social expectations. Masking is common in neurodivergence and mental disorders like Depression or BPD. Masking may be mimicking others speech, gestures or facial expressions, hiding natural repetitive movements, forcing eye contact, rehearsing scripts, hiding feelings, overthinking interactions, and hiding interests.
