[ about pride ] > note - I gave you way more detail bc I am so serious about this > gender, pronouns and sexuality for future - pride will be happy as a tom (he/him) and be attracted to both she-cats and toms (bisexual, masc pref) just like my Lee lmao— > personality - [+] loyal, confident, upbeat, brave, charismatic, driven, supportive, resilient, honest, energetic, generous - [=] proud, competitive, bold, stubborn, protective, independent, ambitious, direct, intense, determined - [-] impulsive, blunt, impatient, overconfident, headstrong, reckless, unyielding, dismissive, restless > detailed personality - pride is a proud, loyal and upbeat guy at heart. his confidence is steady and natural, not loud or showy, just that he’s perfectly content as-is. he’s charismatic and easy to get along with, and doesn’t fold under pressure as other kits might. ed is deeply loyal to his people. once someone is in his circle, he sticks with them through mistakes, conflict, whatever. he’ll just randomly show up when you’re feeling down with a mouse or something. pride doesn’t mind not being the same species as everyone else, but he HAAATES when people slander him for it. like his name suggests, he’s ridiculously proud. eddie tries to be capable, reliable and respectable all at the same times, and never likes feeling useless or outmatched. so in short, he’s stupidly competitive. pride’ll refuse help even if he really needs it. he’s bold, direct, and sometimes a liiiittle too honest for his own good. ed's filter is AWFUL, especially when he’s frustrated—even if he means well, he can come off harsher than necessary. gentleness is not blud’s default ;v; despite that, he’s supportive and his heart’s in the right place. pride wants his kin to succeed, and will push them to keep going when things get tough. he doesn’t sugarcoat it though, and is awful at comforting people— he’s also stubborn and usually restless. once bro has something in mind, you cannot shift him. pridekit hates being stuck or idle too, always trying to find something to do—“Wanna race? Guys? Come on!” pride’s not perfect, and he doesn’t try to be. he just is who he is: a silly, brutally honest little goober who throws himself in danger just for his family. ────── .⋅ ★ ⋅. ────── THREE . [ trivia and other ] > trivia - pridekit’s favourite colour is orange! - he has never heard of walking. bro runs or even jogs wherever he goes, even to the fresh-kill pile - sometimes eddie dramatically announces things for the heck of it (ie: “I HAVE RETURNED FROM MY DRINKING OF THE PUDDLE OF LIFE”) - pride is really, really good at finding lost things and won’t stop until he does. lost your lucky stick? pride’s your man.
