Today is Military Kid Appreciation Day! Which for the record I didn't even know was a thing but now I do. This day is to appreciate the kids who go without a mother or father for months while they're serving the country or having to move constantly. This day is meant to recognize those kids who have lost parents that died serving their country or the kids with veteran parents. (Which trust me. Is not easy). I am a military kid myself. My father is a Marine Veteran with PTSD and it isn't always easy living with him. I can't imagine how it would be if he was still a soldier and we had to move constantly or he died in service to the country.
