To start a round, you must draw once from the northern deck and thrice from the southern deck. The northern deck contains either squirrels or skeletons, depending on which gamemode you are playing. Both cost nothing to play. Sacrifice your squirrels to play beasts with a blood cost, or play your skeletons to attack. The southern deck contains your other cards. Most beasts have a blood cost. To play them, you must sacrifice a number of cards you control. Deathly cards, as well as some beasts, have a bone cost. You gain a bone when one of your cards perish for any reason. You can expend them to play cards with a bone cost. When you ring the bell to end your turn, all of your cards will attack the opposing spaces. The number on the left of the card represents a card's power. The number on the right shows a card's health. If a card attacks an empty space, that damage is added to the scale, left of the bell. If that scale tips all the way to the north, you win. If it tips to the south, however... At the start of your turn, you must draw. From which deck is up to you. That is all I can teach you. You will learn the rest as you play.
